Geotechnical Engineering
Rone has been recognized as a leading expert in the geotechnical engineering field.
Properly performed geotechnical engineering characterizes the properties of earth materials and projects the reaction of the loading conditions, resulting in improved foundation design, reduced delays, and increased awareness of construction risks. Licensed in Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana, our geotechnical engineers are highly skilled, experienced, and knowledgeable regarding subsurface conditions throughout each of these states.
During preliminary geotechnical investigations, Rone will coordinate utility clearance to verify boring locations are free of conflict, coordinate access with property owners, and obtain necessary permits (if any) prior to commencement of drilling operations. Boring locations will be established in the field and GPS coordinates will be identified on the Logs of Boring. Soil samples are logged and preserved in the field for transportation the laboratory for further documentation and analysis.
At Rone, our clients have many options in the deep foundation arena, including driven piles, Augured Cast-In-Place piles (ACIP), and drilled shafts. Our use of modern methodology and accurate field exploration of the subsurface provides our clients with the information they need to develop an effective foundation design.
Rone offers time-efficient scheduling and the ability to quickly mobilize the appropriate equipment and crew.
