Project Overview

Previously known as the Daniel-Meyer Coliseum, the facility underwent a $72M renovation that was completed prior to the 2015-16 season. Arena seating has the familiar layout of the former facility, but the concourse is where most of the $72 million was spent. The TCU men’s and women’s basketball programs received new locker rooms and team meeting rooms as well as an expanded sports medicine center. In addition, the arena floor was lowered requiring temporary retention of the seating bowl and installation of a subfloor drainage system.  The 332,000 square-foot facility now seats up to 6,860 people. The new building facade for the Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena architecturally complements Amon G. Carter Stadium and the TCU campus.
